THE PLEDGE ON FOOD WASTE
Designed on first-hand knowledge from sustainability experts and academics, the PLEDGE is a practical answer to the widely underestimated issue of Food Waste. In line with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, it helps organisations to attain goals in combatting hunger, reducing waste generation, and mitigating climate change.
The third party audited standard is articulated around 9 key pillars that include Staff Awareness, Food Waste Monitoring System Implementation, Review of Existing SOPs and Guest Engagement in reducing plate waste. The food waste monitoring methodology has been recognised as aligned with the United Nations’ Draft Food Loss and Waste Standard.

KUONI WATER CHAMPION
During two years the team was involved in supporting 26 hotels in Thailand to help them reduce their water consumptions. This project was a great success and we aim to develop a new version of it in Bali in 2017.

CRITERIA FOR ELEPHANT CAMPS
We have been involved in creating criteria for elephant camps in South East Asia, in partnership with ECEAT. It's a great pleasure to participate to such a wonderful and exciting programme. The pilot phase was launched during the 2016-17 winter. Next steps are : auditor training (august 2017 in Chiang Mai -Thailand), standard presentation to Laos stakeholders and authorities (September 2017-Vientiane- Laos), last review of the criteria (october 2017), first assessments in Thailand, Laos, Malaysia, Bali (2018). Official launch first quarter 2019
