Nicolas Dubrocard
Director

Nicolas Dubrocard is an international specialist. He started his career in France where he participated to different programmes to improve tourism in Armenia and train young professional from Israel and Morocco. He moved to Morocco in 2007, created his own company and led programmes such as Every Drop Counts for The Travel Foundation or environmental audits in the oases. He also supported the hotel and ryads to get the Green Key eco label. In 2011 he became the international Director of the Green Key and moved to Copenhagen. After few years in Denmark and a lot of support to the 41 countries involved in The Green Key, he moved to Thailand to work with Kuoni to develop the Kuoni Water Champion Programme. Later he moved to Malaysia and worked for Wild Asia in Kuala Lumpur.

He is now based between Europe and Asia, teaching in Bocuse Institute in Lyon and IUBH near Bonn in Germany. He is also auditing for Green Globe and Travelife eco labels.

Willy Legrand
Senior Partner

Dr. Willy Legrand is Professor of Hospitality Management at the IUBH School of Business and Management in Bad Honnef - Bonn, Germany. He conducts research and lectures on sustainable hospitality development and management, hospitality facilities management and marketing at undergraduate and graduate levels in Germany but also as a visiting professor at reputable universities in Singapore, India, Dubai, France, Peru and the United States.  Prof. Legrand is the lead author of Sustainability in the Hospitality Industry: Principles of Sustainable Operations (textbook’s 3rd edition released in 2016). He is the Chief Editor of the Hotel Yearbook Sustainable Hospitality 2017 and he is the co-editor of Sustainable Hospitality and Tourism as Motors for Development: Case Studies from Developing Regions of the World and the co-editor of the Routledge Handbook of Sustainable Food and Gastronomy released in 2015. Prof. Legrand is also a guest editor for special issue on Social Entrepreneurship in Hospitality from the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management.

Patricio Gonzalez Morel

Patricio Gonzalez Morel is a mechanical and environmental engineer with 20 years of experience in resources conservation and pollution prevention, which he employs to help companies become more profitable and sustainable by using water, energy, materials and chemicals more efficiently in their operations.

He is a leading expert in resources conservation in the hotel industry, and has conducted detailed sustainability assessments in countless hotels across the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa. Through this work he has been able to amply demonstrate that low-cost and high-return equipment and operational upgrades can generally reduce a property´s utility costs by 15 to 25% while significantly enhancing its environmental performance.

He has also worked with large tour operators (TUI Travel PLC, First Choice, Thomson, etc.) to lower the environmental impact and operating cost of their flagship hotels; led the technical activities of major international sustainable tourism initiatives in Jamaica, the Eastern Caribbean and Egypt; and produced guidance manuals and digital resources for hoteliers, consultants and developers on key sustainable tourism issues.

Simon Louvard
Junior Consultant

Simon Louvard is a young sustainable tourism consultant that started his journey in the Tourism industry by working in 5 star luxury hotels (Berkeley London, Grand Hotel de Bordeaux). He progressively moved into the responsible tourism field, contributing to enhance the quality of services in different eco lodges around Australia.

Passionate and proactive, he spent his last 2 years working as a hotel Environmental Consultant for Sukau Rainforest Lodge (Sabah, Malaysia), which was elected one of the most Unique Lodges of the World by National Geographic.

He is currently participating in a 12-month HopTour (Hopineo) throughout Pacific Asia, in order to help different responsible-tourism companies and actors by giving them consulting regarding their sustainable development practices. He is also collecting eco-friendly and carbon offsetting solution so that they can be shared with other companies alike.

Alexandre Tsuk
Green Inspiration Expert

Alexandre Tsuk is French and has lived and worked in many Asian countries before settling for the magical island of Bali where he runs a community of sustainability leaders, hotels, resorts, shops but also stakeholders interested in connecting with sustainability leaders.
In France and Laos, for 10 years, Alexandre was running successfully small groups of hotels and restaurants as a managing director with a strong focus on marketing and strategy.

In 2001, he founded BookGreener, a booking engine for sustainability properties around the world. In 2005, he decided to focus on building an active community that would not only support its members but leave a positive impact on the destination. The group has launched www.refillbali.com, a map of places where people can refill their water bottle and Precious Plastic Bali, which aims at tackling the issue of plastic waste.

With a wide practical experience in hospitality with a passion for sustainability, Alexandre is the right person to assist a resort or hotel on their general strategy, communication, marketing or reputation management..

Benjamin Lephilibert
Food Waste Prevention

Benjamin is based in Bangkok and the founder of LightBlue Envrionmental Consulting, a regional auditing, capacity building and consulting firm supporting companies willing to improve operational performance and minimize their social and environmental footprint. He worked across Asia with various prestigious partners from the private sector (Accor, ClubMed), governmental agencies (TCEB) as well as from International Organizations (UNILO, EU).

Benjamin has been a pioneer on the topic of Food Waste Prevention, has developed one of the most comprehensive program to date, integrating implementation of a food waste monitoring system, online tracking of data, capacity building and revision of SOPs at critical food waste generating points.

Benjamin is as well an international guest speaker, guest lecturer, a judge for International Sustainability Awards and an active member of several sustainable tourism working groups (GSTC).
